Enable Ireland still has vacancies on their 'Introduction to Assistive Technology' course being held in Microsoft, Sandyford, Dublin18. Week 1 of the 9-day course takes place on 15, 16 & 17 February. See www.enableireland.ie for more details.

A pilot service for accessing the Emergency Services by text using 112 has been launched. The service is designed for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired in the Republic of Ireland. The service will run for a six-month trial and will then be reviewed.
