More information on DeafHear

DeafHear (formerly the National Association for Deaf People) was established on the 5th June 1964 with the primary objective of "promoting the welfare of Deaf people and their families in all aspects of life". After 40 years, this aspiration continues to be the core objective that drives the services DeafHear provides nationally. DeafHear provides a range of services to over 32,500 Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their families annually. It also has a wider impact on the lives of all Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in Ireland through advocacy and campaigning for improved health and education services, and for better access to society for all.
