These magnetic caps act as identification devices for objects around the home and they may be helpful for people with a visual impairment. A message can be recorded into the cap and then played back to identify the object at a later stage. The yellow caps can store a ten second message while the red caps have the capacity for a 30 second message.

Velcro and adaptors are supplied so the caps can be used with non-metallic objects like books or bottles etc. The caps can also be used as voice output communication aids for people with complex communication needs.
