The C-Max Universal Stairclimber is a push wheeled chair with stair climbing function to transport users up and down stairs. It will cope with straight, narrow or spiral staircases, can be used with all kinds of floor coverings, and has variable speed control to cater for different situations in which it might be used. It is powered by battery so the operator uses little physical effort and it can be easily dismantled for transportation in the boot of a car. It has puncture-proof wheels, removable armrests and a fold-away footrest.
