The Stairmatic Stair Climber is designed to provide stair access to people who cannot climb them and where an elevator or stairlift cannot be installed. The stair climber has a padded seat and backrest and is battery powered with an emergency stop feature. The battery can be recharged and climbs/descends at an average rate of 15 steps per minute. It is attendant controlled and can be used on narrow or winding stairs and on uneven surfaces.
