Birchwood desks are designed for use with a wheelchair or specialised seating. They aim to provide the correct working height for the user. The desk lid provides a wipe clean flat working surface with cut out that can be tilted up to 90°. 

It has a serrated slot along its side, which allows the arm that angles the board to be adjusted safely. This serrated slot runs diagonally along the side allowing for positive low angle locking. The angled board helps eliminate eyestrain and the need to lean down by bringing the work surface closer. The height of the desk is adjustable so the user can change its height to suit different chairs etc. These boards come in two sizes and can be static or mobile.
