TextHELP Read & Write

TextHELP Read and Write is a software programme designed to support and improve reading and writing skills for students with dyslexia and other literacy difficulties.

The software has a floating toolbar and features speech feedback, phonetic spell checking, homophone support, word prediction, a talking dictionary, and a talking simple calculator. The software works alongside any Windows programme including web browser. It also has a word finder feature that combines a dictionary and thesaurus. Users can hear text as they type or have text highlighted as it is read out. Icons, menus and help files can be read out too.
