This personal alert system is designed for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. It notifies the user about different events around their home. The cordless system consists of a number of transmittors and a pager or receiver. Place each transmitter at a sound source, eg: near the telephone, main door, fire alarm or car alarm etc. When the device is triggered the transmittor sends a signal back to the pager to alert the user.
The front of pager has images of the devices being monitored around the house. These images light up when that device is activated for example when the phone rings the pager vibrates and the picture of the phone lights up. While the pager is charging overnight it can be connected to a strobe light or a vibrating pillow pad that will alert you while you sleep. The charging unit is available with an alarm clock which can used in conjunction with the vibrating pad to wake the user up.
