Chubb Care Unity+ Telecare
The Care Unity+ system is a carephone system that connects to a monitoring centre and can help provide peace of mind to users, relatives and carers. Up to 41 compatible telecare devices can be linked to the system. In this way a variety of situations can be monitored. The user may simply want to be able to call for assistance if they have a fall, or absent relatives may want notification if the user appears to have wandered off. By connecting it to the relevant telecare device, it can be used to detect gas or carbon monoxide leaks, flooding, intruders, seizures, bed wetting, silent alarm in a domestic violence situation and a range of other applications (listed below).
The device is connected through the phone line and mains power supply. When any connected device is triggered, the monitoring centre is automatically alerted.
Features include: large brightly lit alarm button, hands-free speech, multiple emergency numbers for contacting/alerting a number of people to the situation, ‘person down’ alarm facility, and bleep signal for those unable to speak.
Additional features of the Unity+ version include up to nine recordable voice messages for various situations, an ‘I’m ok’ facility, medication reminders and real time clock for monitoring time related situations such as inactivity over a prolonged period.
