The A-200 Personal Sound Amplifier is designed for individuals who are hard of hearing and do not have a hearing aid. It transmits conversations or sounds from a hi-fi, radio or TV and sends them to a wireless headset. The device consists of a transmitter that is placed close to the sound source and a receiver on a headset. The conversation, TV or radio programme is transferred directly from the transmitter to the headset.

The user can adjust the volume on the headset to a level that suits them without affecting anyone else in the room. The wireless headset allows the user to move around while listening to the conversation, TV or radio. The Audioport A200 has an eight-foot range and the transmitter doubles as charger unit for the receiver.
