These spoons are covered in
a plastisol coating that protects the teeth, gums and lips when in
use. They may be helpful for individuals with spasticity or limited
hand control though they are not recommended for those with severe
biting reflexes. The spoon has a built-up cushion grip made of
soft latex and a stainless steel spoon. A twist in the metal shaft
allows the spoons to bend to any angle. They
are dishwasher safe, although it is recommended that they are
washed in cold water to prolong the life of the spoon.
