This electric feeding tool is designed
to facilitate independent eating. It is suitable for users
suffering from cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's
disease and arthritis.
The device consists of a mobile extension arm mounted on a
plastic base. The base clamps onto a tray or table. The
extension arm has a spoon at its end. Electric motors move the arm
and the spoon from the plate to the user's mouth. The arm can be
rotated or moved vertically to suit the user's individual needs.
The base has a stand for a bowl that can be rotated electrically or
by hand.
