This device splits pills and vitamin tablets into two halves so they are easy to swallow. It also helps prevent uneven doses and the risk of cutting the hand when dividing pills.

The tablet is placed between the two lids of the device. The upper lid has a thin blade that splits through pills as it is closed. This device requires only light pressure, and can be activated with a single finger. The storage compartment in the pill splitters base safely holds unused pills.
