This machine can help
prevent stiffness and loss of range of motion in the elbow joint
following an operation. It consists of a wheeled base with a
vertical upright and an attached arm brace. The machine can be used
while lying in bed or sitting in a chair.
The user straps their arm into
the machine and it moves their limb through a range of different
movements to exercise the elbow. It provides anatomically correct
passive motion of the elbow joint with the option of synchronised
pronation/supination of the forearm.
