This pen-shaped device
provides electrical stimulation to acupuncture points on the body.
It detects these points by measuring the skin, and underlying
tissue, and emits an acoustic signal to alert the user to the
location.
The easy to hold device is supplied with detailed
instructions, which illustrate the major acupuncture points on the
body. As the stimulation of the acupuncture points is
electrical, the device does not pierce the skin. The level of
stimulation can be adjusted to the recipients sensitivity.
Treatment times can be controlled manually or with a
timer.
