This lightweight, positioning cushion has two long cutouts and a central pommel. The user positions their legs in the cutouts, which hold the legs apart (abducted) and help maintain the users hips in a neutral position. The padded cushion helps reduce leg and hip rotation and may be helpful for night-time positioning.

The cushion also reduces pressure on sensitive areas and may help to reduce night-time spasms and extension. It is suitable for children aged between six and twelve years of age. The cushion consists of a linen bag, which contains a sealed plastic bag full of small polystyrene beads. The outer cover can be removed and machine-washed.
