The Air-Layer Mattress is a pressure-reducing mattress that is suitable for users who are at very high risk of developing pressure sores. The mattress is made from temperature sensitive visco-elastic foam that moulds to the shape of the body. This creates a greater surface area, which in turn increases pressure redistribution. The top layer of the mattress is designed to reduce heat transfer and vapour transfer.
