The Air Layer Overlay is a pressure-reducing overlay that can be placed over a standard mattress. The overlay uses visco-elastic and air layer technology to provide pressure reduction for those at medium risk of developing pressure sores.
The air layer surface helps to reduce the heat and vapour transfer rates between the user and the overlay surface. The cover of the overlay is made from a tough, polyurethane fabric, which is waterproof, vapour permeable and wipe clean.
