The Alpha Trancell™ Overlay is a pressure relieving air filled mattress overlay. The overlay is made up of connected V-shape cells and is designed to inflate and deflate over a time period of 10 minutes. The inflation and deflation helps to prevent pressure sores and encourages blood vessels to open. The overlay has a quick release plug for emergencies and is secured to the bed with safety straps. The cover of the overlay can be removed for washing and has a bacteriostatic and anti-microbial agent that prevents bacteria build-up.
