The Memaflex Overlay is a pressure-reducing overlay designed for those at medium risk of developing pressure sores. The mattress is made from temperature sensitive, castellated foam. The foam moulds to the shape of the body increasing the surface area and thereby reducing pressure. It can be placed on top of a conventional mattress and used with a profiling bed.
The mattress has a tough polyurethane cover, which is waterproof, vapour permeable and can be wiped clean.
