The Transair 2002 Mattress Replacement System is a pressure relieving mattress suitable for people at very high risk of suffering from pressure sores. The pressure relief system consists of three cells that alternate in a cycle of 15 minutes. The system includes a control unit which sounds an alarm in the event of pressure drop or power supply failure. The mattress is waterproof, washable and can be used in three settings; normal, sitting and static modes. The Transair 2002 Mattress Replacement System has a control knob that enables it to be suitable for CPR and when this is selected the mattress is deflated and ready for CPR procedures in 15 seconds.
