The Transair Lite Mattress Replacement System is a pressure relieving mattress and suitable for people who have a very high risk of suffering from pressure sores. The pressure relief system consists of a two cell overlay, which alternates in a cycle of ten minutes, and 29 inner cells made from polyurethane. The system contains a control unit which sounds an alarm in the event of pressure drop or a power supply failure. The mattress is waterproof, washable, and can be used in three settings; comfort, transport and CPR modes. The Transair Lite Mattress Replacement System is suitable for CPR procedures when the airlines from the pump unit are removed.
