The Bariatric Dynamic Mattress is a pressure relief mattress system for users up to 320kg (50 stone) in weight. It is suitable for those at high risk of developing pressure sores and is designed for use with the Sidhill Bariatric Bed.
The mattress has 20 air cells that sit on top of a layer of foam. The foam layer provides stability and also acts as a backup system in the event of power-cut or incorrect pressure settings in the air cells.
The mattress also features a hinging mechanism that allows the upper section to be raised at the backrest position, and the lower section to curve or contour.
