This pressure reducing overlay is made of 100% polyurethane foam. It is divided into geometrically shaped sections, which can operate independently of one another. This design enables maximum weight distribution and allows air to circulate freely keeping the skin cool and free of pressure areas. This overlay may be helpful in relieving arthritic and rheumatoid aches and pains. It is designed to be used in conjunction with an existing mattress as a topper mattress. It can be helpful for those requiring low risk pressure relief, if the existing bed is too hard, and general fatigue and back pain are a problem.
