This splint holds the users foot and ankle in the correct position and protects the heel from ulceration. The splint consists of a plastic base with a soft fleece lining and a foam heel pad. The splint has an open design that allows air to circulate around the heel and ankle.

The foam pad fits under the users ankle and holds it up away from the base. The splint should not be used when standing or walking. It can be used to prevent hip rotation.
