Foot Drop Splint

This splint assists in positioning the foot, while preventing foot drop. There are two models available. The regular model holds the foot in place providing 0° of flexion at the ankle. The adjustable model allows progressive bending at the ankle moving from a 45° angle to 90° angle. There is an open cutout at the heel which helps prevent against pressure sores. The splint is held in place with foam straps and hook and loop fasteners. The soft triangular foam insert allows for rotation at the ankle. The base of the splint is made of strong plastic which can be steam sterilised. The nut and bolt on the adjustable splint do not require tools for adjustment. These splints may be helpful for post-operative or burn patients.
