Theraplus Deluxe Hand Orthosis

This splint is designed to support and progressively improve the position of the users hand, wrist and fingers. The splint has a malleable aluminium base which is covered in layers of foam. It moulds around the users thumb and underarm and creates a resting place for the fingers, holding the palm open.

The splint has a pivoting thumb support, which abducts the thumb and provides medial and lateral support. Colour-coded hook and loop straps hold the splint in place. The forearm, wrist and finger sections of the splint can be adjusted as the position of the users hand improves. Removable finger separators are included.
