This splint fits around the user's thumb and wrist and is held in place with two Velcro fasteners. The splint immobilises the thumb joints to restrict range of motion and protect the thumb.
The splint has a gel pad that disperses pressure and energy away from the thumb if the splint is hit off anything. The pad desensitises the area to prevent scar formation. The splint is available with an optional insert that provides additional thumb support. It is available for the left and right hand.
