Chrisofix - Multi-Purpose Wind-Up Splint

This lightweight splinting material is designed to provide immobilisation to affected areas without inhibiting other joints. The Multi-purpose Windup Splint is designed for use on the forearm, wrist, hand and fingers. It can be used to splint partially dislocated finger and elbow joints and forearm fractures. 

The material has an aluminium core, which is covered in polyethylene plastic. It is water impermeable and X-ray transparent. To use the splint, cut the material to the required size, form a U-shaped gutter, and secure to the limb using tape or adhesive plaster.
