This foam splinting material is designed for shoe orthotics and inserts, cervical collars, arthritis splints, and for adapting the handles of household utensils and other equipment.
The thick low-density foam material conforms to heat and pressure. The material is cut to shape, heated in the oven at 140° C, and moulded to the users limb to make a fitted splint. It can be laminated together by placing one piece of material on top of the other. The material is available in packs of perforated and non-perforated sheets.
