This splinting material is moderately resistant to stretch. It is suitable for dynamic finger, wrist and hand splints and elbow and lower limb splints. The beige splinting material has a smooth powdered surface and is available in various sizes and thickness.

Heating the material for varying amounts of time gives variable working times before the material sets. A temporary bond can be achieved by using the wrap and tack technique, where the edges are pinched together. For a permanent bond, remove the coating on the material by scraping it away with a knife, or using spirits.
