Patterson Medical Alarm Monitor and Alarm Sensor Pads

The Patterson Medical Alarm Sensor Pad is designed to activate an alarm if the user moves their weight off the pad, usually placed under a chair or the sheets in a bed.

The pad is connected to a Patterson Medical Alarm Monitor, and is transferable from chair to bed as required.

A green flashing light on the alarm indicates that pressure has been detected on the pad, and the alarm is set. The indicator changes to a red flashing light if this pressure is no longer detected, and the alarm sounds.

An amber flashing light indicates that the battery should be replaced. The reset button needs to be pressed three times in quick succession to help avoid tampering.
