This portable, battery-powered bath lift lowers the user into the bath. It has an aluminium frame with a padded seat, backrest and side flaps. Four suction cups hold the frame securely in place on the floor of the bath. Pull-tabs on the sucker feet allow the user to remove the bath lift when it is not in use.

When the bath lift is in the uppermost position, its side flaps form a secure board across the bath, which facilitates side transfers. A push-button handset controls the raising and lowering of the lift. The handset has positioning suckers that hold it in place within easy reach. The bath lift will only lower if there is enough power in the battery to raise it again. A version of the Bathmaster 2000 is available for deeper baths.
