This battery-powered bath lift lowers the user into the bath. It consists of a stainless steel frame with a mesh seat and backrest for rapid water drainage. The backrest can be adjusted to four different reclining positions and the seat is height-adjustable. Suction cups hold the frame securely in place on the floor of the bath.

When the bath lift is in the uppermost position, its side flaps form a secure board across the bath, which facilitates side transfers. A push-button handset controls the raising and lowering of the lift. The bath lift will only lower if there is enough power in the battery to raise it again. The foam covers can be removed and machine-washed. The Bathmaster is available with a Swivel Transfer Kit. This consists of a large padded circular seat that slides along a horizontal track on the Bathmaster's seat. The Swivel Transfer Kit allows the user to transfer more easily to and from the bath lift.
