The Lagoon Excelsior Bathlift, lowers, reclines and lifts the user into and out of the bath. It has a rechargeable hand controller that can lift and lower 25 times on one charge. The charger has a light on it to indicate when the battery is running low. When the bath lift is in the uppermost position, its side flaps form a secure board across the bath, which facilitates side transfers. The user is then lowered and the backrest is reclined. The bath lift will only lower if there is enough power in the battery to raise it again.
