This children's bath lift is designed to make it unnecessary for the carer to lift. The lift has a rectangular base with four suction cups that adhere to the base of the bath. The front suction cups are attached to each other with a strap that can be pulled upwards to release the suction cups when removing the lift from the bath.
The lifting action is powered by a gas assisted scissor mechanism. The lift platform consists of a horizontal base with a lipped front edge. A clamp at the back of the platform allows a bath support seat like the Flipper to be attached. These support seats have tubular frames with mesh fabric coverings. The frame and support seat allow the child to be supported in a semi reclined position with slight flexion at the hips.
