Etac Clean Shower/Commode Chair

This combination shower and commode chair is designed to make things easier in the shower and toilet for both user and carer. There is a self-propelled and attendent-propelled version of the chair. The self-propelled model has large rear wheels with brakes, while the attendent-propelled model has four solid plastic wheels with push-down brakes.

The chair is made from a single steel tube, so there are no welded joint areas where bacteria growth might occur. It has a seat has an anti-slip surface. The chair has a one-piece footplate with sides, which prevents the user's feet from coming in to contact with the wheels. The footplate can be pushed out of the way when not in use.

This chair has ergonomically shaped armrests that can be detached to facilitate sideways transfers. The chair has large holes for drainage, and the seat is completely open at the rear. Various clip-on pressure-relieving cushions are available together with a soft back and a range of other practical accessories.
