Soundbeam 2 is an electronic music synthesiser designed for use by people presenting with multiple learning or physical disabilities and behavioural syndromes including autism. It can be used to help motivate the students, stimulating learning, and helps with interaction and inclusion of the students. Soundbeam 2 works by converting the students movements into digitally generated sounds with sensors picking movements up to 50m away from the unit.
