Self-Opening Scissors

These scissors require less strength to operate than standard scissors. They have a central spring that holds the blades open when they are not in use. The user squeezes the looped plastic handles to cut, then relaxes the hand and the handles spring open ready for the next cut.

The scissors have rounded, stainless steel blades and they come with a blade guard for safety. Right and left-handed versions of the scissors are available.
