Uplift Cushion

This self-powered lifting cushion helps users to raise themselves from a seated position. It may be helpful for individuals who can no longer get up unassisted or carers who need to transfer people. The cushion is available in standard foam, or viscose elastic memory foam (V-foam), which moulds to the user's body reducing pressure. Both cushions are fitted with a fire retardant, waterproof cover, which is machine washable.

The piston on this device slowly and automatically lifts up to 80% of the user's weight when they start to get up. The cushion has six different weight settings. It is portable and can be used on almost any seat.
