Classic Standing Frame

This standing frame is designed to support the user in an upright position. The frame is generally used in therapy situations to improve and encourage weight bearing and early walking training. It has a tubular steel frame, which is mounted on four castors. A manual and electric version of the standing frame are available. The user can be assisted into a standing position in the manual version.

The electric version has a lifting mechanism that can be battery or mains powered. The user places their knees against the kneepad and fastens their feet into the strapped footboard. A sling is fitted around their waist and then attached to the raising system on the frame, which lifts them into a standing position. Both versions of this standing frame have a cut-out tabletop and hip, knee and foot supports as standard. The electric version has a wider range of accessories, including thoracic and head supports.
