This motorised hoist can be
used to lift users to sitting or standing positions. It can also be
used as a walking trainer. The Pallas 2000 Stand Aid is battery
powered, with a foot-operated adjustable H-shaped base to
accommodate various chair widths. The base frame is mobile with two
front castors and two rear braked castors. The body of the unit
consists of a mast and U-shaped upright spreader bar with sling
attachments. There are also two push handles and removable foot and
knee plates. The motor is operated by push button controls.
Also available is the Pallas 2000E Stand Aid which features an
electrical leg spreader.
