Energy Efficient Lightweight Transit Wheelchair

This attendant driven wheelchair has an aluminium frame with heavy-duty, fire retardant upholstery. It has puncture proof tyres on the rear and narrow castors on the front, with a push down brake system on the rear wheels for when the chair is not in motion and quick release fixings so the rear tyres are easily removed. It also features a lap belt for the safety and restraint of the user. The armrests and the footrests are detachable and can be swung away for access.
