Expedition Plus Transit Chair

The Expedition Plus Transit Chair is a lightweight, attendant-driven wheelchair. It has an aluminium frame and a folding backrest that make it easy to transport and store. The wheelchair has large, puncture-proof tyres to the rear and smaller regular tyres at the front. It has looped, cable brakes that are easy to operate and suitable for those with arthritic hands. The wheelchair has two stepper tubes that make it easier for the the carer to raise the front wheels over kerbs or low steps. The wheelchair features height-adjustable, swing-away footrests, full-length armrests with arm pads and a lap belt.
