HD Rehab HD Balance 16 and 24 Tilt-in-Space Wheelchair

The HD Rehab range of light-weight, tilt-in-space, manual wheelchairs can be used both indoors and outdoors. The Balance 16 model is for those who cannot propel themselves and the Balance 24 (pictured here) can be propelled either by the user or the carer. The chair is highly adjustable. The seat tilt is controlled by a lever and on the standard model has a range of 0-20°. As an optional extra it is possible to have a greater seat tilt of up to 30°. The position of the backrest, seat, calf supports, arm rests and leg rests can all be set for optimum support and comfort of the user. Three different recline positions are available: back recline, leg rest recline, or a combination of both for a fully-reclined position.
