The DR Prelease Gel Cushion is made from polyurethane gel and gives comfort and pressure relief to the user. The gel has good heat resistance and stays cool reducing the rate that skin heats up. The cushion is available with none, one or two air bags. The airbags consists of gel cells that allow circulation of air around them and reduce pressure on bony prominences. The cushions with one or two air bags are suitable for users at medium risk of developing bed sores and the cushion with no air bag is suitable for users at low risk of developing sores.
