The elevating swivel unit is a positioning aid for wheelchair armrests allowing them to be swivelled to a desired position where a spring pin locks the armrest in place. The elevating swivel unit will increase the height of the armrest, therefore to compensate for this it is advisable to use height-adjustable armrests.
