This abductor is designed for use on solid wheelchair seat frames/plates and is flipped away via a push button mechanism. It can assist the user in maintaining their thighs in a straight position. The abductor can only be fitted onto a wheelchair with a solid seat base and is not suitable for canvas wheelchair seats.
