One of the major goals of assistireland.ie is to provide information online which is accessible to all. We have designed this website to be highly accessible by complying as far as possible to level AA of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, as developed by the World Wide Web Consortium.

The site is accessible using most browsers, including browsers on mobile devices such as smartphones.

The size of the text on this website can be changed by clicking one of the “A” buttons in the top-right hand corner of the screen. This can also be changed by altering the settings in your browser. A high contrast option is also available.

Assistireland.ie uses WAI-ARIA landmark roles to identify particular areas of the webpage.
